BREAKING NEWS! - - - - -

Envy & Other Sins missing!

Great Britain's indie-rock scene holds its breath today as the manhunt begins. Close friends stated that there has been no contact from the group since last Thursday, as they left to rehearse at their secret bunker somewhere under Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. Police and volunteers are now scouring the city and surrounding area for any clue as to the band's current whereabouts.

We asked two distraught local fans, Fiona and Digby Fitzpatrick (left) what the news meant to them: - "We've already bought tickets to see them at The Jug of Ale next Wednesday, so they'd better be back soon or there'll be hell to pay...".

When we approached the group's official spokesperson, Admiral Pritchard (right), he added: "I'm sure they're fine... er, can't you see I'm busy?".

Please watch this space for further developments, and if you have any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, let the Police know via the band's email facility.

Monday the 12th of March

Last night saw us make a triumphant return to Birmingham's Academy 2. Hullo, huzzah and hooray Henry to all who were there, and those who weren't.
New songs have been played, grapes have been peeled and ass's milk has been bathed in.
The last of these solely by Jim McDrum, but there lies quite another tale.

Today found us travelling once more to our nation's capital.

We stopped off along the way for sustenance,

and what a happy meal © ®  it was.

We arrived at our destination cried "Capital" and proceeded to rock the Water Rats Theatre to its very foundations.
