Tuesday the 27th of September

Yesterday saw our first concert appearance on our newly-christened "Champagne in the Spittoon" tour. It was in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, and a most enjoyable occasion. There will be many more. Hope to see some of you at some of them, do come and say hello - it is most comforting to us to be greeted by sinners.

You can view those dates in full by clicking here.

Friday the 23rd of September

Given the vast number of forthcoming musical concerts, sinners across the land have been facing a most perilous dilemma... "I really must catch Envy & Other Sins live, seeing as they are one of the finest purveyors of alternative pop this land has seen of late. However, as summer wanes the probability of my having to travel in warm garments increases, yet I refuse to line the pockets of promoters by utilising their musty cloakrooms..." Well fear not, as the Envy & Other Sins hatstand has now been repaired and can now be considered as good as new (providing your definition of 'new' means somewhat ropey).

Wednesday the 21st of September

Notice ye well, the single release date has moved to the 5th of December. This is due to a delay in the arrival of the diplomatic pouch from Prussia, which contains some very sensitive information indeed. Correspondingly the London show at Bush Hall has also moved to the 22nd of November, to allow the embarrassed ambassador for the fledgling state time to prevaricate.

Tickets for the Bush Hall performance can be purchased here:

Saturday the 17th of September

Yesterday saw the penultimate instalment of Still No Word From Gaz, which our club partners, Murdoch headlined splendidly.

It is now possible to monitor how far Sinning and Pheasant have spread across this fair land, thanks to our handy map.

If you witness any verifiable instances of Pheasant performed by non-band members, please let us know so that we can include them.

Thursday the 15th of September

Birmingham has finally been dragged kicking and screaming into the 19th Century - that's right, this city of millions has been furnished with a Barfly venue, which opens tonight at the Sanctuary in Digbeth.

Also, we have a myspace site, so why not come on in and be our friend...

it beats talking to real people any day of the week.

Wednesday the 14th of September

We travelled to the centre point for a master class with the Young Pretender and Admiral Pritchard. The views were spectacular, although not as spectacular as the sounds of Prodigal Son and Help Yourself being committed to tangible form.

Even Chaplain James of the Church of Loog overcame severe vertigo to pleasure his ears.

Saturday the 10th of September

London concert announced!

It's time for a visit to the capital. We will be performing live at Bush Hall in Shepherd's Bush, London on Tuesday the 22nd of November. More details to follow.

Wednesday the 6th of September

Tonight, the cads of the English Association Football Team take on the might of Northern Ireland. This match can be viewed on a large screen at the Jug Of Ale in Moseley, where a pint of beer costs just £1.50. After the match, we will be giving a concert performance upstairs. What a perfectly lovely evening out.

Momentous  news: we are releasing a single. It is a most popular song, called Prodigal Son, which we have re-recorded especially for those of you who have already purchased a demonstration disc.  It is a strictly limited release, available on 10" green vinyl on Loog Records. The records will be in shops on Monday the 5th daye of December, but you can also purchase a limited number directly from us (click here to pre-order) or from the Loog Records website

Friday the 1st of September

So much has happened. We have considered extending our Empire building to the shores of Croatia, but have decided that for the time being, discretion is the better part of valour, and hence the soft underbelly of France shall remain our main target.
