Monday the 27th of June 2005
The Inaugural Grand Pheasant Championship is announced.
To take place on the afternoon of Sunday the 31st of July 2005 in Highbury Park, King's Heath, Birmingham. Bring Pimms or Champagne to quaff, indulge in the finest cucumber sandwiches and enjoy spectating as the nation's top Pheasant practitioners battle for the triumphant honour of being crowned Champion Pheasanteer. We will be providing acoustic music to accompany the event (when not in action on the court) and other musicians are of course welcome to join in. Appropriate attire is encouraged.
Should you wish to enter the Championship, please click the Pheasant to familiarise yourself with the finer points of the rules of the game.
Teams of 2 Gentlefolk are preferred, but solo Pheasanteers will be assured a partner on the day, and are welcome. A good team name is essential.
Tuesday the 21st of June 2005:
The ghost of Wing Commander Johnson is due to return from a secret training mission somewhere in the Indian Ocean. What he has learnt may never be revealed.

There was Still No Word From Gaz. This was nevertheless a goode thinge.
Sundaye the 12th of June 2005:
The admirable Mr Candover narrowly avoided being pole-axed by a large boulder. He was seen to raise his fist at it and yell "Confounded rock!".
Fridaye the 10th of June 2005
We have acquired a most beauteous steed, which is currently without name. She is quite a prize and would fetch a pretty penny amongst those types that inhabit the wide streets of Newmarket Towne. However, a deal was reached between Dr. Apothecary and her previous owner, a poor unfortunate with a penchant for some of the good doctor's more addictive concoctions...
Thursdaye the 2nd of June 2005:
Two splendid fellows, hail and hearty, have been press-ganged; these being Fleet-Admiral Barnabus Pritchard and Field-Marshal Percy Chadwick of TRC Management. It is hoped that they shall prove to become invaluable compatriots, due in no small part to Chadwick's exemplary battlefield tactics and Pritchard's supreme marksmanship.
