There is nothing positive to say about today. This morning we found that most of our beloved musical equipment had been stolen from our van by varmints during the night. Consequently, and to make matters worse, a lacklustre British performance at the Grand Pheasant Championship led to the trophy being won by a FRENCH team! Scandalous.

Although much enjoyment was derived by all participants and spectators, and there can be little doubt that the reputation of the Game of Champions was enhanced by the event, did we really have to let "les Français" walk away as Grand Champions? At least the actual Frenchmen involved (Vincent et Gregoire) are most gentlemanly.

The Young Pretender Andrew N. Savours has longed to work with us since before he was born. Wish fulfilment is our business, hence we allowed him to record us playing our instruments. He then roped in his partner in rhyme, the Noteworthy Alex Dromgoole to abet him in mixing duties. The songs "Man Bites God" and "Shipwrecked" were dealt with in this manner.

Now that's production.

Today the Good Doctor has been pursuing his other hobby, alchemy, and has so far succeeded in turning pound coins into beer. The admirable Mr Candover is most pleased by this development. Also, a concert performance occurred at the Flapper & Firkin. 'Twas a fine event.
