December 2005

Thursday the 15th of December

Sorry for the lack of news from our town crier, we have been very busy rocking. The Champagne in the Spittoon tour of Great Britain is drawing towards a close. The only dates left this year are our Still No Yuletide Word From Gaz this very Saturday, and... New Year's Eve at the Barfly in Birmingham. This will be alongside the mighty Misty's Big Adventure. Roll on the hour of twelve.

Since our last bulletin here, we have been to three Hamptons (South, Wolver and North), seen Prodigal Son hit the racks of all good record shops, played in one of these record shops (the fabulous Pure Groove on London's Holloway Road), revisited Liverpool and Cardiff, and capped things off with a night in Nottingham.

The hessian-bagged collector's edition of Prodigal Son has sold out, although we're informed that they're changing hands in an auction house by the name of E-bay. We think there are still some copies of the vinyl (still in a beautiful gatefold sleeve, naturally) available, HMV.co.uk still had some when last questioned, but it would appear that purchasing sooner rather than later would be wise.

Otherwise, it just remains for us to thank everyone we've met this year, and wish you all a merry festive season, and an envious 2006.
